CASCADE CHORALE AND THE
CASCADE CHORALE ASSOCIATION

PRESENT

Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana

The CASCADE CHORALE, a community chorus, is part of the music department at Central Oregon Community College.  We currently have members who’ve sung with the chorus since David Evans was the director, over 30 years ago, as well as members that have just recently graduated from high school.  The Cascade Chorale has been under the direction of James Knox since 2004, and has approximately 75 talented singers.

Concerts and Venue:

  • Orff’s Carmina Burana is one of the most popular pieces of music ever written and has been featured in many movies and programs.  It has not been performed in its entirety in Central Oregon since 2001.
  • Concerts will be held June 8th and 11th, 2012, in Bend High School’s newly-remodeled auditorium
  • Capacity of auditorium is approximately 1,400 – your support will be announced to concert guests from the stage and will be listed in the concert program
  • Supporting musicians include members of the Youth Choir of Central Oregon, Bend High School, and Summit High School
